Now, allow me to share with you a fun stamping technique, and perhaps you would take up the challenge and create some projects with this technique! *wink*

The usual and most common way of using our stamps is to pick up some ink from an ink pad and stamped onto whatever surface material we want. So how about having some watercolour stamped images? Oh yes, I’m not kidding, I did say WATERCOLOR.

What you need is some waterbase color markers, papers, water spray bottle and of course the essential stamping supplies such as ink pad, acrylic blocks and stamp cleaner. I’m using my distress markers from Ranger to create the watercolor stamped images on 3”x4” white cards.

Instead of the typical one solid color stamped image, I want something fun and of vibrant colors. And here was what happened – I picked a script word ‘TODAY’ from Kellie Stamps May stamp set – Today, applied the desired colors straight onto the stamp piece. Next, holding the spray bottle approximately a short ruler distance from the inked stamp piece, mist the stamp piece lightly and stamped the image with even pressure. To finish off the card, I filled the remaining space with black stamped image in order the make the watercolor ‘TODAY’ to stand out and be the main focus point.

The same goes for the label stamp piece. Color the stamp piece directly with distress markers, mist it lightly with water and stamped. Hey, I got some really cool-looking labels that I can add words on them!

At the end of the day, I created a handful of cards to be included in my Project Life spreads as well as for card making. 😉
